Penarth Ministry Area is a community of five churches centred on this attractive and vibrant seaside town just a few miles south-west of Cardiff and the adjacent village of Llandough.
The town is regularly highlighted in the national press as one of the top places to live in the UK and is popular with both families and the retired.
The Penarth Ministry Area is proud to belong to the Inclusive Church Network and to welcome everyone. Its aim is for everyone to find a service to suit their preferences in one of its five churches, where the diverse worship styles and traditions of the Anglican Church are all represented.
The Ministry Area Council has developed a vision for the Ministry Area, which underpins all its mission priorities. It seeks to be:
- Visible and known
- Flourishing, inclusive and outward-looking
- Making best use of our resources
- Proactive in serving our community
- Active in stewardship of our environment and challenging injustice.
We are looking for a Ministry Area Leader who will lead, support and encourage the Ministry Area in driving its strategic agenda forward, working as part of a strong and integrated team of clergy and lay people to minister to the people of Penarth, Llandough and beyond.
