This Christmas at some point you will probably hear mention of shepherds, of travellers from the East (the so called “wise men”), of stars, of angels, and possibly even of sheep and oxen. All of these play a part in the story of the birth of Jesus - the world-changing moment that we celebrate each year at Christmas.

They all in some way mark his birth, and in their own way each of them brought their adoration to him. Some in the form of gifts, some through their presence, some in songs that they sang, and others simply in sharing their living space!

For all of them though the invitation was to come and adore him, the baby who was called Jesus - and we would like to extend that invitation to you too this Christmas.
