All Saints Penarth Community Cinema - screening PHANTOM OF THE OPEN starring Mark Rylance in a true story about his life as a shipyard crane operator who dreams of winning the British Golfing Open Championships. He tries to enter as an Amateur but is rejected but get accepted in the 1976 Open as a Professional despite never have played a round of Golf in his life. The Golfers will love this film but honestly it's for everyone - Maurice is just like us all - with a dream except his tries to make his dream come true and endures the ridicule.
