Councillor Dr Mo Misra will be holding his Civic Service in St Dochdwy's Church on Sunday 1st June at 3.00pm with refreshments available afterwards in the Llandough War Memorial Hall. He invites all residents to join him on this important day in the community calendar.

All Saints Church presents 'Music at lunchtime'. A free concert featuring local musicians. This month we welcome jazz pianist Laurie Rich, who is completing her undergraduate studies at Cardiff University before going to the Royal Academy of Music in London in September.
Join us for our monthly event, finding out more about church in an informal way. Everyone is welcome, adults & children, single or families. There will be songs, Bible stories, activities (to suit young and old) and a picnic tea to share. It's all free, so come along, bring your friends and family and find out what it's all about.
Our second plant sale will be on 3rd May, so come along and fill your garden! We’ll also have tea and coffee and lovely homemade cakes. If the weather’s good, you can sit outside and enjoy the views over Cardiff Bay. Cash or card payments taken, bring a bag or tray for your plants if you can. Any donations of plants, seeds or cakes are most welcome – please get planting or baking. Items can be dropped off on the day (please label them clearly). Proceeds will go the Ministry Area. Join us as our 5 churches come together for a Palm Sunday celebration, remembering Jesus's joyous arrival in Jerusalem and the events leading up to his crucifixion. Please stay for coffee and fellowship afterwards.
All welcome for a simple soup lunch with a suggested donation of £5, all profits go to Christian Aid. There will also be a bookstall and cake stall. The lunch is provided on a rota basis by the churches of Penarth.

Come and see the magical display of Christmas Trees in St Augustine's Church. Each year, we have about 50 Christmas trees in the church, decorated by local community groups, schools, businesses, charities, families or individuals. At the event, visitors come in to view the trees and then can vote on their favourite. There is a programme of music throughout. Profits go to the 3 nominated charities (75%) and Ministry Area funds (25%). Refreshments are in the Parish Hall at the same time as the Festival, with seasonal preserves and cakes also on sale. This spring will see Al Lewis, bilingual singer/songwriter from Wales, embark on a unique tour in partnership with Transport for Wales; visiting towns and cities all along Wales' stunning rail network. Door time: 7:00pm Start time: 7:30pm
