Whether you can sew, knit, crochet, do tapestry (beginner or advanced - help will be on hand if you need it) or if you just fancy a chat - you will be very welcome. A Friends of St Augustine's Event. Marcus Payne will give a talk in the Parish hall, Albert Road on the effect of World War 2 on Penarth. This is in preparation for the commemoration taking place in the church on Saturday 6th. Doors open at 7pm and the talk starts at 7.30p Entrance is £5, £3 for members of the Friends.

TOAST - a monthly space at All Saints Church for parents/carers and little ones to come together for a relaxed breakfast and space to play and hang out.

An Open Afternoon to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the end of WW2. We will be recreating a Victory Garden, have walks and talks about the war graves in the churchyard and have a concert of wartime songs and stories. Plus an exhibition in the church of memorabilia to do with life on the homefront during WW2. All welcome, free entry, refreshments available.

Join us for a delicious cream tea on the Gallery at All Saints. Tickets include a scone with jam and cream, tea or coffee and live musical entertainment. There will be cakes available to purchase and a raffle. All proceeds to Penarth Ministry Area funds.

Sun 20th July EVERYONE WELCOME ST AUGUSTINE’S CELEBRITY ORGAN RECITAL with tea & cake 3pm. Organist Tom Bell will be performing a very special programme 'The Best Experience' – tickets for this are £10 on the door.

Everyone welcome to our Summer Celebration with music, stalls, games, food stands, tea coffee and cakes, plus free bouncy castle and dance demonstration. Free entry.

Join us for our monthly event, finding out more about church in an informal way. Everyone is welcome, adults & children, single or families. There will be songs, Bible stories, activities (to suit young and old) and a picnic tea to share. It's all free, so come along, bring your friends and family and find out what it's all about.

Join us as our 5 churches come together for a Palm Sunday celebration, remembering Jesus's joyous arrival in Jerusalem and the events leading up to his crucifixion. Please stay for coffee and fellowship afterwards.

All welcome for a simple soup lunch with a suggested donation of £5, all profits go to Christian Aid. There will also be a bookstall and cake stall. The lunch is provided on a rota basis by the churches of Penarth.

Come and see the magical display of Christmas Trees in St Augustine's Church. Each year, we have about 50 Christmas trees in the church, decorated by local community groups, schools, businesses, charities, families or individuals. At the event, visitors come in to view the trees and then can vote on their favourite. There is a programme of music throughout. Profits go to the 3 nominated charities (75%) and Ministry Area funds (25%). Refreshments are in the Parish Hall at the same time as the Festival, with seasonal preserves and cakes also on sale.
